The discussion on the Internet, its future, the so-called opportunities and risks is often done very one-sided. For this I want to contribute, with a one-sided, positive and personal account of my life with computers and the Internet.
computer began to shape my childhood at some point during the '90s when my father brought a laptop with tons and tons of home and promised to where you can paint. In my childish imagination I painted the most beautiful pictures with a pen directly on screen, the built-in nipple-mouse and touchpad were a major disappointment (so solves the Ipad childhood trauma). Then it was all uphill. Bananas were thrown at Gorillaz, lard border teenage stories typed about a donkey, played Tetris and Solitaire to the brim of the scores. And then came the Internet. There they started it has found what they needed - for example, the final School Department. In any Chat Rooms exchanged one felt whether trivia and unrecognized about before his incredibly cool.
I decided to study at the e-commerce hype bubble-media computer science. I met many nice freaks. Unfortunately, I helped my math notes and negotiated a Hessian not particularly high school on, and I decided soon after to "make something with media," but without computer science. On the technical side of me, the Internet was not weighed, because I had a tendency to live in areas where you could only dream of DSL. At some point, said the nicest to me of the freaks, blog yet again. And I thought about it and about 2 years later I started blogging. (On the subject of fast-moving media: On Twitter, the reaction time had then been reduced to 1 year). I blogged but only when I grad had a super special order, so to win election campaigns or other weitweg tell people how it is far away Sun And now comes the doll very positive. I learned at a meeting Xing-a so-called A-bloggers know, we fell in love. It was great and we parted ways again. I went to a Twitter meeting, met a journalist and had a month's work. I was on the political camp, got to know briefly my current boss and got a few months later, a job request via Facebook. And Skype would without the long-distance relationship is less tolerable and almost all people have here in space I somehow the Internet to know. So in summary: internet = a lot of interesting people, many opportunities.
For a bit of balance here I once had a few negative things written down. And I watch what I write on the Internet, as read along as a lot of people, bosses, colleagues, friends. It is easy to hurt someone, including themselves, but without the internet I would be lost.
